Huge garage, yard and storewide sale to benefit ACT

Abuse Counseling and Treatment Inc. will hold a huge garage, yard and storewide sale Saturday, Aug. 12, at its Second ACT Thrift Store, at 12519 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. All clothes will be $1 - grab a bag and fill it with other items. A small grocery bag is $5 and large paper bag is $10.

All proceeds from this sale will raise much needed money for ACT's safe, free and confidential programs for victims of domestic violence and their children, survivors of sexual assault, and human trafficking in Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties.

ACT, a 501(c)3 nonprofit social service agency, has been providing a circle of support for victims and their families since 1978. ACT provides critical services to those in crisis through a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, forensic examinations, medical, legal and personal advocacy, violence prevention programs, children's programs and more.
