South Seas Island Resort's Holiday Stroll, which took place over three weekends in December, was a huge success this year - even with the weather forcing the cancellation of two dates. For the event, the marina and north end transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights and endless entertainment. Included in the $10 ticket price were festive treats, skating, live music, arts and crafts, photos with Santa, holiday movie favorites playing and activities, including face painting, stilt walking, juggling and balloon artists. As a result, South Seas was able to donate over $4,200 to Captains for Clean Water from the ticket proceeds. Daniel Andrews, executive director of the group, thanked South Seas for its generous donation and continued commitment to Southwest Florida's water.
